At approximately 12:30pm on Saturday 26 September 2009, a man dropped a home-made explosive device during a funeral march of three Palestinians who had been killed in an Israeli attack. The device was thrown a house in the Az-Zaitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City. Haya Kassem As-Sidawi, 8, Tala't Ali Ad-Dahdouh, 22, and Rami Daoud Totah, 20, were injured as a result.
