Axel Wernhoff, and Mr.
Radoslav Zivkovic, Consul – Political Affairs.

On Wednesday 19 January 2011, Mr.
Younis met with Dr.
Leonhard Moll, the Austrian Representative to the Palestinian Authority (PA), and Mr.
Sami Abu Sultan from the Representative Office of Austria to the PA.
the meeting took place at Al Mezan's office in Gaza city.
On Tuesday 18 January 2011, Mr.
Younis met a delegation from Department for International Development (DFID).
He met Mr.
Jeffrey Tudor, Deputy Head of Office Palestinian Program, and Chris Roberts, Deputy Program Manager Palestinian Program.
Hamdi Shaquora, Deputy Director for Program Affairs at the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), participated in this meeting.
Younis highlighted that the time has come that international community reviewed its line of policy towards the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt); particularly towards showing better respect to its legal and moral obligations towards civilians; including by insisting on the full lifting of the blockade and ensuring that human rights and other international law violations be punished.
He also emphasized that efforts to achieve Palestinian reconciliation must be continued.
He also suggested that international community was required, more than ever, to do more to ensure that the negotiations between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) do not contravene with international law.
These meetings are part of Al Mezan's effort to consult with the diplomatic and development community and expose the violations of human rights in Gaza to the diplomatic community; especially as international community has an important role in promoting human rights and protecting the victims from suffering and violations.
