At 8am on Monday, 3 September 2018, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing within the Israeli-enforced restricted fishing zone off the coast of Al Waha area in west Beit Lahia city in North Gaza district. The fishermen had to stop their work and escape the sea in fear for their lives. No casualties were reported.
