At approximately 8:30 am on Sunday, 1st January 2017, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza see off of Al Shatee’ refugee camp in Gaza City. As a result, fishermen abandoned their work and sailed to land immediately. No injuries or causalities were reported.
