Israeli Gunboats Attack Fishermen, Arrest Five and Confiscate their Boat West of As-Sudaniya Area

At approximately 7:30 am on Thursday, 4 June 2015, Israeli gunboats opened fire at a fishing boat carrying five fishermen west of the As-Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza. Then Israeli gunboats surrounded the Palestinian small boat and forced five fishermen who were on its board to take off their clothes and to swim toward the gunboat. The Israeli forces arrested the fishermen and took them to unknown destination. The Israeli forces confiscated the boat. Al Mezan identified their names as follow:

  • Fahd Ziad Hassan Bakr, 39; and his two sons,
  • Ziad Bakr, 21;
  • Na’em Bakr, 19;
  • Walid Mohsen Eid Bakr, 21; and his brother,
  • Imad Ad-Deen Bark, 17.

 

All of them are residents  of Al Shate’ refugee camp
