At approximately 9:00 am on Wednesday, 6 May 2015, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the sea west of the As-Sudaniya area west of Jabaliya in North Gaza district. No injuries or casualties were reported. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Israeli gunboats targeted fishing boats which were about five nautical miles away from the cost. As a result, fishermen abandoned their work and left the area.
