At approximately 1:30 pm on Saturday 4 October 2014, an explosion took place in Beit Lahiya in North Gaza City.
As a result, Hesham Shaher Al Shurafa, 20, sustained wounds in different parts of his body, and medical sources in Kamal Odwan hospital described his injuries as moderate.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the explosion resulted from an Israeli remnant bomb which the man found near to his house.
It was near the place of incursion of the Shelf steadfast operation northwest of Beit Lahiya.
