At approximately 7:15 pm on Saturday 14 June 2014, an explosion took place in the house of Jalal Abdullah Abu Ghazal, in Al Ghazalat area near Erez Crossing in North Gaza district. As a result, his daughter, Aliya, 15, and his cousin Mahasen Ibrahim Mohammed Abu Ghazal, 21, were injured. According to Kamal Odwan hospital, their injuries were described as moderate. According to Al Mezan’s filed investigations, a locally made rocket fell incidentally on the house and caused the explosion. The house was severely damaged and three adjacent houses were partially damaged.
