Child killed and Tens Injured North of Gaza City

On Monday, 24th June 2013, at approximately 12:40 am, one child, and 39 others were injured in a bus crash, which was taking a track in Salah Adeen St.
, close to the civil administration office in Jabalyia, north of Gaza City.
The crash incident was of a mini bus, the bus of the kind that accommodates at least 30 passengers, was completely damaged due to a crash with a large truck (tailer) and another car following the mini bus.
The crash led to the death of Tareq Al Sakani, 8, a resident of Beit Lahyia, 39 others were injured as well.
Medical staff at Kamal Odwan, Al Awda, and Beit Hanoun Hospitals described the injury of seven children as serious so that they were transferred to Ashifa’a hospital in Gaza.
According to Al Mezan documentations, the children were in their way back from Al Nasser camp which was organized by Wa’ed Captive and liberators Society, and was funded by the World’s Assembly of Muslim Youth in Gaza City.
All of the children are residents of Beit Lahyia and Beit Hanoun.
