At approximately 11:30 am on Sunday June 9th 2013, Abed Al Qader Abedallah Abu Moghasib, 65, was admitted to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis as a result of a gunshot wound sustained while playing with his weapon at his house in the Japanese residential area east of Khan Younis. According to Al Mezan documentation, Abu Moghasib accidently shot himself in his left arm and was transferred immediately to the hospital where medical sources described his injury as moderate.
