At approximately 6:15 pm on Sunday 26 February 2012, Subhiya Ahmed As-Sultan, 53, was admitted to Kamal Odwan Hospital after sustaining a bullet wound in the left leg.
Medical sources described her injury as moderate.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, As-Sultan was injured while she was walking in the street in the As-Salateen area in Beit Lahiya, North Gaza district.
The source of the shooting is not known.
