At approximately 2:00 am on Sunday 28 October 2011, Israeli naval vessels patrolling the Gaza sea opened fire on a Palestinian fishing boat, which was using lights to fish the sea by night, approximately three miles off the shore of Gaza City.
The boat was damaged as a result.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
