At approximately 2:30 PM on Friday, 25 March 2016, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stationed at the border, southeast of Al-Bureij, fired tens of tear gas canisters at Palestinian young men and children taking part in a protest against the Israeli violations in Jerusalem and the West Bank. As a result, one protester was hit by a teargas canister in his left thigh, and another one suffered effects of tear gas inhalation. They both were rushed to Al Aqsa Hospital to receive treatment. Clashes between protesters and the IOF lasted until 5:50 PM.
