At approximately 14:30 on Friday, 11 March 2016, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stationed in the vicinity of Nahal Oz Crossing at the eastern border, east of Al-Shejaiya neighborhood, fired ammunition and launched tear gas canisters at young men and children taking part in a protest against the Israeli violations in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Clashes between protesters and the IOF lasted until 17:00.
As a result, three protesters were wounded. Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital described their injuries as mild and moderate; two sustained injures from live ammunition.
