At approximately 09:00 on Thursday, 22 November 2011, the Gaza government’s Internal Security Apparatus summoned Samer Khalil Meqdad, 33, a former officer at the Police Investigation Unit, to its office in Khan Younis.
According to the information available to Al Mezan, the apparatus held Meqdad for several hours at their office in Khan Younis before referring him to the apparatus office in Gaza City.
