5 April 2011
Short Link:
At approximately 8am on Tuesday 5 April 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) positioned at Erez crossing, prevented 38 Palestinian patients and their escorts from passing the crossing to receive medical treatment at Tel HaShomer, Beilinson, and Ichilov General Hospitals.
The IOF allowed patients who were going to receive medical treatment at other hospitals to pass the crossing.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the IOF prevented these patients from passing the crossing because there was a strike at these hospitals for 48 hours.
These patients have to now obtain new appointments with the hospitals.
This is a lengthy procedure and aggravates the suffering of the patients.
