1:30pm, on 7/1/2008, the Police (Executive Force) arrested Mohamed Shabat, 46, a Major in the General Intelligence.
Shabat is also a lecturer at Al-Aqsa and Al-Azahar universities, and belongs to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
They arrested him from his home in Beit Hanoun, and took him to the Beit Hanoun police station.
After PFLP's intervention, he was released at app.
7pm that day.
