At 6pm on Saturday, 5 May 2018, , the security apparatus of the Ministry of Interior in Gaza took to detention Hatem Abu Al Hussein, 46, from his office in North Gaza. The security personnel arrived in a white micro-bus and stopped the car of Abu Al Hussein near his home in Al Sikka street in Jabalia refugee camp in North Gaza. He was ordered to get off the car and was beaten before he was arrested.
