At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, 31 July 2023, the Palestinian Police arrested Osama Fathi al-Ejeili, 22, resident of the al-Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah, and his cousin Hossam Mahmoud al-Ejeili, 22, resident of al-Saudi neighborhood in Rafah. They were both arrested at al-Shuhada Square, in the al-Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah, and were released on bail the following day at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, 1 August 2023.
