At 12:30pm on Sunday, 11 February 2018, Hamza Jamal Hammad, 24, and Yasser Al Atwana, 45, were detained by the general intelligence apparatus in its office in Jabalia refugee camp in North Gaza governorate. According to Al Mezan’s monitoring, Hammad and Al Atawna showed up at the office of the general intelligence after receiving a summon order in writing at 10a.m. on Sunday, 11 February 2018. They were interrogated about the rally in solidarity with the Syrian people. The rally was planned to be held at 5p.m. on Saturday, 10 February 2018, in Jabalia.
At 8p..m on Sunday, Hammad and Al Atawna were released after signing a pledge not to participate in any general rallies.
