At approximately 1:30 PM on Friday, 8 April 2016, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stationed in the vicinity of Nahal ‘Oz Crossing at the eastern border, east of Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, opened fire and launched teargas canisters at tens of young men and children taking part in a protest against the Israeli violations in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Clashes between protesters and the IOF lasted until 6:30pm. As a result, three protesters sustained bullet wounds.
