Police general investigation department summoned Dr.
Rafeq Al Masri, Professor at Al Aqsa University, to its office in Beit Hanoun.
At approximately 9:00 pm on Sunday 1 September 2013, Al Masri presented himself at the police station and he was detained for one hour.
His cell phone and ID card were confiscated.
The police ordered him to present himself again on Monday 2 September at 8:00 am.
When he went there, he was detained for about 11 hours.
During which he was interrogated about his political opinions and his relations with Fatah figures.
He was forces to sign a document committing him to respect the law and not to provoke people against Gaza government.
