In the past couple of days on 19-24 August 2013, the internal security apparatus summoned a number of Fatah activists and leaders to its office in Khan Younis.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations and affidavits given to Al Mezan, the apparatus submitted summons for a number of Fatah activists and leaders to present themselves at the apparatus office.
When they went to the office, they were detained for several hours and interrogated about their Fatah activities and their relationship with Tamarod protest movement.
Some of them were released but after issuing them other summonses.
Al Mezan has identified names of some of them as follows:
Jihad Sha’ath;
Ra’ef Salama Shurab;
Yihya Zakariya Al ‘Aqqad;
Khattab Al Faq’awi;
Waleed Shaqoura;
Mohammed Mousa Al Jdaili;
Nourhan Al ‘Aqqad;
Jihad Mohammed Mousa;
Nabeel Abdel Rahman Shneno; and
Salah Abu Hamed.
