At approximately 2:00 pm on Tuesday 1 January 2013, the Gaza’s internal security apparatus summoned by call phone Hazem Abdullah Salama, 38, and Sami Abdel Fattah Abu Lasheen, 40, to its office west of Gaza.
In their affidavits to Al Mezan, the two summoned persons stated that they were interrogated about preparing for a mass rally to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the founding of Fatah movement.
At approximately 4:30 pm on the same day, the Apparatus released them but after warning them from participating in the rally.
