At approximately 9:30 a.
m.
on Sunday 26 June 2011, the Gaza police stationed at the Customs Checkpoint on Salah Ad-Din Street near the Erez crossing prevented Mrs.
Amal Hamad, a member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, from travel via the Erez crossing.
Mrs.
Hamad was traveling to the West Bank to attend meetings of the Fatah Revolutionary Council.
In her affidavit to Al Mezan, Mrs.
Hamad stated that the police held her ID card when she arrived at the Customs Checkpoint and returned it to her at approximately 11:00 a.
m.
on the same day.
She added that they informed her that she was “prevented from traveling.
” According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, this was not the first time that Mrs.
Hamad was prevented from travelling.
