The Gaza Government's internal security apparatus summoned Hisham 'Ashour Abdel Malik, known as Salim Deeb, to its office in Jabalia refugee camp.
After Salim did not present himself, he was arrested from his house in the town of Al Sheikh Zayed at approximately 9pm on Monday 6 June 2011.
The apparatus then took Salim to an unknown destination.
At approximately 9:30 on the same day, a police force arrived at Salim's house and told his family that they wanted to search the house.
Salim's wife and family refused to allow the police to search the house without a search warrant from the public prosecutor office.
Later, police brought the owner of the apartment and broke into the house.
The police searched the house and confiscated a PC box, CDs, and a Global Positioning System (GPS) device.
The police left the house without giving Salim's family a document of the confiscated things.
The place of detention and the motivations behind it have remained unknown, He was released on 12 June 2011.
