Internal Security Apparatus Detains a Fatah Member for Several Hours in North Gaza District

At approximately 10am on Thursday 9 June 2011, the Gaza Government's internal security apparatus detained Faiyz Mohammed Abu 'Itta, 43, the former spokesperson of Fatah movement.
The apparatus detained Abu 'Itta at its office in Jabaliya refugee camp.
At approximately 6pm on the same day, the apparatus released him.
The reasons behind the detention have remained unknown.
