At app. 9:45am, on 1/2/2008, Jaser Abu Jarghoun, 28, was killed when he was standing near his house in the Joret El-Lout district in Khan Younis. He was shot several times. 16-year-old Wa'el Nabil Abu Hadayed was injured during the incident by a live bullet to his right shoulder. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unknown.
