At app. 10:40am, on 13/4/2008, the sound of a huge explosion was heard. It came from the home of Hassan Al Motawaq in Jabalia in northern Gaza. According to field investigations, it was an internal explosion that killed one unidentified citizen and injured two others. They were reported to have sustained serious injury. A second explosion occurred in the same house when civil defense crews were trying to extinguish the fire from the first explosion
