At 02:30p.m. on Saturday, 10 February 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders near Nahal Oz crossing, opened fire and launched tear gas canisters at a group of Palestinians, including children and young men, who demonstrated in eastern Gaza city. The demonstration was held in protest of the latest U.S. decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Shooting continued until 06:00p.m. on the same day. No injuries were reported.
