On Thursday, 28 December 2017, court of first instance in Khan Younis sentenced to death by hanging m.kh., resident of Shaoot neighborhood of Rafah who was indicted on accounts of intentional killing, attempting killing, fight in the public and carrying a knife in an inappropriate setting. The death sentence followed a number of extended sessions, in which testimonial evidence was solicited and reviewed by the public prosecution. The victim’s family did not pardon the killer, who murdered his two brothers by stabbing them to death with a knife on 15 May 2015.
