At approximately 6:00 pm on Friday, 31 July 2015, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a group of children and young men who were near the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel north of As-Sayafa area northwest of Beit Lahiya. As a result, Mu’az Omar Al Shin, 19, sustained bullet wound in the right thigh. Medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital described his injury as moderate. He was referred to Shifa Hospital in Gaza for medical treatment.
