At approximately 1:00 pm on Wednesday 28 November 2012, Israeli naval vessels patrolling the Gaza sea opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast opposite Al Waha resort, west of Beit Lahiya, North Gaza.
As a result, one fishing boat belonging to Tal’at Kmel Baker, 22, was damaged.
The firing frightened the fishermen on the boats and they sailed to land immediately.
