At app.9pm, on 15/1/2008, police arrested journalist Munir Abu Rizeq, Director of Al Hayat Al Jadida newspaper in the Gaza Strip. They arrested him in front of Al Awda tower in the Tel Al Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City. Mr. Abu Rizeq lives on the 10th floor of the tower. The moment he left his home, he found gunmen wearing police uniforms waiting for him. They ordered him to go with them.
