Unknown persons fired heavily on the house of a Fatah revolutionary council member.
As a result, his house and car were damaged.
The identity of the perpetrators and motivations behind this incident remain unknown.
According to Abu Juda An-Nahal there was no personal disagreement or family feud that might be one of the reasons behind the incident.
According to field investigations conducted by Al Mezan Centre for Human Rights, at approximately 10:15pm on Friday 5 March 2010, an unknown armed men fired on the house of Mohammed Juda An-Nahal,45, while he was inside his house.
An-Nahal is a Fatah Revolutionary Council member and the secretary of west Gaza area.
His house is two-story and located in the east Barcelona playground, in the Tal Al Hawa neighborhoodwest Gaza City.
An-Nahal was on the ground floor in his house sitting with Suliman Ar-Rawag, Fatah's member in west Gaza Committee.
According to An-Nahal's affidavit given to Al Mezan, the shooting continued for one minute.
When the shooting ceased he went out of his house and found several bullets in his white Hyundai car and the frontage of his house.
Al Mezan strongly condemns the shooting of An-Nahal house.
Al Mezan calls on the Gaza government to initiate a serious investigation into the incident and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
