At 10pm on Tuesday, 14 August 2018, Israeli forces arrested Bassam Abu Sharee’a, 54-year old businessman, while he was crossing through Erez in North Gaza. According to Al Mezan’s documentation, Abu Sharee’a, a resident of Tal Al Hawa neighborhood in Gaza city, had arrived to Erez at 8am on the same day to cross to Israel. The Israeli forces then arrested him, taking him to an unknown detention center.
