At 5:45pm on Monday, 2 July 2018, S.A., 2, and her mother R.A., 43, both residents of Burij refugee camp, arrived to Shuhada Al Aqsa Hospital with wounds caused by live fire from a firearm mishandled by A.A., 53-year old father of S.A. Doctors stated the child was moderately injured by a live bullet in the palm of her right hand and the mother lightly by a live bullet in her leg. The police launched an investigation into the incident.
