On Tuesday, 27 March 2018, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians as they tried to sneak beyond the eastern borders of Al Shoka in eastern Rafah. The three were Ahsraf Hasan Al Sofi, 29, Ahmed Eid Shalof, 19, and Anwar Ibrahim Abu Mashi, 20. The three are residents of Rafah city. Al Mezan’s lawyer followed up on their detention and was informed by the Israeli forces that they were under arrest and that their detention was extended to 5 April 2018
