At approximately 8:00 am on Thursday, 11 February 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Fawwaz Sa’eed Johar Qandil, 39, resident of At-Tofah neighborhood east of Gaza City, who is a fruit businessman. He went to Erez crossing to travel using permit issued by the Israeli authorities. When he arrived the crossing he was detained and his family lost communication with him at approximately 3:00 pm on the same day. It’s worth mentioning that this is the first time Qandil travel via Erez crossing.
