At approximately 11:00 amo n Wednesday, 20 January 2016, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats that were in Al Waha area western Beit Lahiya, in North Gaza district. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Israeli gunboats surrounded Palestinian fishing boat and opened direct fire at it. Fishermen on the boat managed to withdrew and sailed to land. No casualties or injuries were reported but fishermen were terrified and sailed to lane immediately.
