At approximately 6:00 am on Tuesday, 2 June 2015, Israeli gunboats opened fire at a Palestinian fishing boat carrying three fishermen in the Gaza sea, about four nautical miles away from the As-Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza City. As a result, the three of them sustained rubber bullet wounds in their legs, Moheeb A’hed Subhi Bakr, 30; Mohammed Bahjat Khalil Bakr, 19; and Mohammed Mahmoud Allouh, 23, all residents of Al Shate’ refugee camp. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the Israeli gunboats chased them and opened fire directly at their boat and forced them to turn back toward the southwest area and shot rubber bullets at them deliberately.
