At approximately 9:20 am on Saturday, 23 May 2015, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza sea west of the As-Sudaniya area in North Gaza district. No injuries or causalities were reported. According to Al Mezan’s filed investigations, Israeli gunboats targeted Palestinian fishing boats which were about 5 nautical miles away from the coast. As a result, fishermen abandon their work and sailed to land immediately.
