At approximately 6:00 pm on Saturday 25 October 2014, Israeli gunboats opened sporadic fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast north and west of Al Waha area- near the maritime borders- west of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
The Israeli shooting continued until 5:30 am on the next day on Sunday 26 October 2014.
According to eye-witnesses, Israeli forces opened fire at fishermen for about 15 times.
As a result, fishermen left the area and abandoned their work.
No injuries or causalities were reported.
