At approximately 11:30 am on Saturday 20 September 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at a number of Palestinians who were near the borders north of Um An-Nasser Bedouin village in North Gaza City.
As a result, two young men were injured, Khaled Ashraf Mohammed Abu Setta, 25, sustained a bullet wound in his right leg, and Jebreel Baker Ahmed Qa’oud, 32, sustained a bullet wound in his back, both of them are residents of Beit Lahiya.
Medical sources in Kamal Odwan hospital described their injuries as moderate.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the two wounded were in the place in order to collect scrap and sell it to the factories to recycle it.
They were 300 meter away from the border fence.
