Short Link:
At approximately 11:00 pm on Tuesday 20 May 2014, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the sea west of Rafah.
Israeli rubber gunboats surrounded a fishing boat and forced two fishermen who were on its board to take off their clothes and swim towards the gunboat.
The Israeli forces then arrested them.
Al Mezan identified their names as: Imad Ad-Din Khalil Mansour, 24, and Ramiz Fadi Juma’, 29.
The Israeli forces took them to unknown destination.
The Israeli gunboats then sailed towards a mooring boat (a boat which is left in the sea with lights on its sides in order to gather fish to catch them later) and confiscated it; this boat is owned by Bilal Na’man Meqdad, 39, resident of Rafah.
