On Tuesday 3 September 2013 and Wednesday 4 September 2013, police general investigation department summoned seven Fatah activists to its office in Al Bureij refugee camp.
The investigation department confiscated computers, cell phones, printers, personal documents, and press materials from the houses of the summoned persons.
The summoned persons were referred to Middle Gaza police station then they were referred to internal security apparatus office in Deir Al Balah.
They were interrogated about their Fatah related activities and their relations to Tamarod protest movement.
They were subject to ill treatment and beating during their detention.
Al Mezan has identified their names as follows:
· Rami Jamal ‘Azaza, 38;
· Hasan Hussein Jawada, 35;
· Khalid Jaber Al Qrenawi, 37;
· Anwar Yousif Abu Isleeh, 21;
· Mousa Fayid Hasan Fayid, 48;
· Bader Yousif Abu Isleeh, 30; and
· Fadi Salah Dabous, 32.
All of them were released but after issuing them other summonses.
The last two persons were still in detention when this news was published at 1:00 pm on Monday 9 September 2013.
