At approximately 10:00 pm on Friday 25 January 2013, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained two Palestinians who were trying to sneak across the separation fence between Gaza Strip and Israel eastof Wadi As-Salqa village.
Al Mezan has identified their names as follows:
Basem Mousa Abdel Kareem Abu Maghaseeb, 24; and
Wesam Abdel Kareem Abu Maghaseeb, 24.
The two detainees are residents of Wadi As-Salqa village.
In their affidavits to Al Mezan, the detainees’ relatives stated that at approximately 1:00 pm on Saturday 26 January 2013, they received a phone call from someone who introduced himself as from Kisofem Israel military site and told them that Basem and Wesam are detained there.
