At approximately 5:30 pm on Saturday 1 September 2012, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Mahmoud Daoud Suliman Ahmed, 16, a resident of Al Maghazi refugee camp.
According to information available to Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, at approximately 7:30 pm on Saturday 1 September 2012, Mahmoud’s father received a phone call from someone who introduced himself as from the Israeli police and informed him that his son was arrested while he was trying to sneak across the separation fence between Gaza Strip and Israel.
At approximately 8:00 am on Tuesday 18 September 2012, Mahmoud’s father heard via Prisoners Voice radio that his son started a hunger strike.
Mahmoud’s family can’t get more information about this.
Mahmoud is studying at the 11th level at school.
His mother passed away in August 2008 and he suffers psychological problem after her death.
