Explosion in Khan Younis Injures Child

At approximately 11:15 am on Tuesday 10 January 2012, Mu’az Khalid Mustafa Al ‘Abadla, 8, sustained shrapnel wounds in his right hand and face when an unknown device exploded near his house, which is located on Khalil Bin Othman street in Al Qararra village, east of Khan Younis.
  He was admitted to the European Gaza Hospital for medical treatment, where his injury was described as moderate.
  In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Khalid’s father stated that a police force had arrived at the scene and opened an investigation.
