At approximately 7:45pm on Tuesday 22 February 2011, Abdel Majeed Abu M'iliq, 18, was injured when an explosive device exploded.
He was injured while he was in his house which is located in the Al Maghazi refugee camp in Middle Gaza district.
He was admitted to the Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah town for treatment.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Abu M'iliq said that at approximately 7:45pm on Tuesday 22 February 2011, he was in his house holding a metal brown object which had Hebrew letters written on it in his hands.
He was sitting near a fire that he had made for heating when the object exploded.
He lost consciousness and was transferred to Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah town.
Abu M'iliq said he had found the object in his relatives' field, located 300 meters from the border fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel, south east of the Al Maghazi refugee camp.
